A new version of the urbanjunglestore.com for the Italian market is online. It will also form the basis of the international site whilst the Maltese site will be replaced soon. Urban Jungle is a sports and fashion-wear franchise and the focus on one or the other depends on the particular market. For example locally they focus on sportswear whilst in Italy the focus is on the casual street-wear sector. The new store had to focus on that and together with the help of the account executive we came up with a new style for the international site. It’s an almost full flash site but it’s peculiar in its construction as i separated the individual pages and sections into their own html pages rather than call up movies in layers. I did this mainly for organizational purposes and hopefully for site mapping and google indexing (we’ll see!).
